What If? (Australia)

A breathtaking DVD from Nic Edmonstone and Vicki Chan.
“Watched it. Loved it. Cried. Especially when her waters broke. Amazing. For me, it was the perfect combination of real life birth and beautiful production…”—Lucy
“I loved it!!! Tears galore, my husband even walked in to see some of it and teared up. Its beautiful.”—Christy
This birth takes place in a private hospital and is supported by two doulas and an independent midwife (a midwife hired external to the hospital).
What if a woman could find her most beautiful and powerful self through the journey of birth? What if a baby was brought into the world knowing nothing but love?
The birth involves scenes on the fitball, rocking with her partner, in the bath, in the shower – everywhere but the bed, providing some great ideas for women wanting an active birth and some suggestions for her support people. Includes a slow motion, close-up view of the membranes rupturing which is incredible photography. Highly recommended viewing. 6 minutes.
“OMG it was sooo awesome. I got goosebumps and all teary. It reminded me sooooo much of my birth eerily similar (in a good way!). Really is very beautiful and shows birth in all its beauty which in my opinion is the type of birth DVD’s women should be watching, not the scare mongering types. Thank you Kelly, it really was beautiful something I’d love to show to my daughter when its her turn – even though thats a long way off. But I’ll definitely be recommending this to all my friends for sure.”—Cailin
“The DVD is gorgeous, I cant wait to use it in childbirth education (classes) to show active birth!!! I reccommend all watch it, it is cheap compared to ther birth dvds!”—Feeb (midwife)
“I watched my dvd today and I LOVED IT! It was very good and I would recommend everyone to watch it. I thought it was just beautiful, it made me all teary even my husband sat and watched it. Personally I will be letting my 4 girls watch it as I think it would be great for explaining where babies actually come from. Thank you so much to kelly for having such a great and educatioal dvd – I will be looking foward for the next one to coming out!”—smithy
