Oooooohhh Myyyyyyyy Faaaarrrreakin' Goodness!!
We had the WORST night EVER last night. It's all a bit of a blur but there was vomiting (have I mentioned I don't do vomiting? I NEVER vomit and neither did DD, apart from the newbie milk posseting), diarrhea, about a million wake ups, some panadol (which did nothing BTW) and at some stage I managed to step on a cockroach in the dark WITH BARE FEET!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww!
I have no idea what was wrong with the little man but it was something - I gave him a bit of stewed apple after his dinner last night. It was seriously the smallest amount. Do you think it could have been that? Or he has had carrots the last few nights for the first time, would it take a few days to have a reaction to that? He is thankfully sound asleep now so hoping he will be OK today/tonight.
Jayne - Babe, you've made me feel so much better telling me that Jess does it too! I tend to react really badly to sleeping issues (have you noticed? LOL!) and often the best way for me to feel better about it is for someone else to just say "yep, us too". She's been really good the last two nights, only waking at about 6-7am and wanting to come into my bed. But I'm OK with that cause.....she's toilet trained at night now! Clever chicken. Bit of a late bloomer in that department but hey, she did it in her own time without pressure from me and I'm so proud of her!! So she's waking earlier and asking to go to the toilet. I can live with that. I had both of them in bed with me after DH left for work this morning. It's one of the only times I've co-slept with L and I admit it - it was kinda lovely!
Spring/Michelle - I'm happy to come on the 11th, but it's easy for me cause I don't know the others! Except Lynn of course.
I know everyone says play centres are great in wet weather, but every mum on earth has the same thought so I actually tend to avoid them on rainy days! I've pulled the old blocks out and it's keeping her amused...for now!
Anyway, better get this day into some order by having a shower...I actually feel a bit hung over!
Hope - soooo glad you found us! I often think we should have PMd everyone from our old 'hood to let them know about this thread. Can't believe "Pinchy" is 10 months already!!
