Hi Tildy - just read your post after I had sent mine through. I am so sorry that you lost your precious baby at 17 weeks. I understand the difficulty of not just dealing with not having your baby but also the memories of what happened and how you were treated. I still get upset when I think about the scan when we discovered Nathaniel had passed away - even though the people treated me wonderfully.

I also hate hearing that drs won't do anything until you have 3 mcs - that is rubbish. I had already decided that this wasn't good enough for me, so I found an ob who was proactive and ordered all the tests necessary. He has been a saviour to me, and is kind and understanding. I would suggest that if drs are willing to do what you ask (just ask for the tests - they can't really say no if you are insisting) - then find new drs.

Well as you can see I am pregnant again. I fell pregnant in Feb after having a D&C in December at 20 weeks. This was completely natural and my second cycle since the D&C. I did start seeing a naturopath at the start of Jan, but I don't think this is the reason I fell pregnant, but it helped with knowing I had a good regimen of vitamins etc in place when I did fall pregnant. I am now past the 20 week mark and all is going well so far. I am just praying hard and trying my hardest to stay positive that this baby is coming home with us.

I hope that helps you a little. I know the pain your feeling, and it can be incredibly lonely at times. Please feel free come here and chat with us, as we are able to offer you support and understanding.
