Bad day today.
I am so tired, and I had my appointment with the midwife and it went really well - so you have to wonder why I'm having a bad day- well I'm not so sure!
I know I still have 2 weeks til my "booked" in c/s and about 5 days til my due date but I am starting to feel really anxious that I won't go into labour. I KNOW there is still plenty of time and I've still been having period pains in my back on and off, so something is happening but the doubts just keep coming in and I hate feeling like I have no control over it all - which I know I don't but I'm finding it hard to shut off........

More acupuncture on Thursday and I am doing pretty much every natural induction method known to mankind, except nipple stimulation which I might start tonight and I might have a nice warm bath to help me sleep too. Arrrgghhhh just come out little one....

Had my Ob check up today - I saw the Head Ob of the birthing centre and before I even started talking about how I was unhappy about the c/s date- she asked me if we had discussed how far over to go....

I said I was concerned and she said that as long as monitoring goes well on Friday she is happy for us to reschedule the c/s - in her words "nobody will force you so if you aren't happy we will rebook it!!!!!!!!

Whoo hooo!!!!!!

She said they would do a S & S next week and I asked her to do it today because of all the back pain I've had etc.....
and my cervix is SOFT and 2 CMS DILATED!!

It is absolutely the biggest relief. At 41 weeks with Izzy my cervix was high and nowhere near doing anything remotely like dilating and here I am prior to my DD (just

) and things are happening! Could still be a week or more off but I am ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
