 Girls,
Blizz - good luck for next Mon/Tue - hope all goes well for you. Will be thinking of you.
Gargy - its bl@@dy hard sometimes isn't it - i know only to well what you are saying. As many times as i have done it - i thought it would get easier but it just doesn't , there is always so much expectation with each treatment, but i figure its got to be a numbers game, your number has to come up eventually right? Well i'm sticking with that theory. Gargy when are you doing another cylce?
Or is it to early to ask ( if so sorry). Its going to happen for you hun - i just know it will.
Me - well i can eventually start my treatment today for my little frosties. AF appeared this morning YAY so now onto the hormone tablets and in about three weeks we can transfer. God i hope this is our miracle
Hope you all have a great day.

Who was that deluded soul that said she was getting better? Oh, that's right - me.
However had a very specific trigger this morning - I had the blood test that would have been the blood test telling me whether I was pregnant or not.
Now it's only going to be the blood test to tell me that I was pregnant and lost it or I was never pregnant at all.
Yeah, what a choice!
Wish I'd stayed home - felt nauseous in the clinic and of course the nurse couldn't find my vein first go and just stabbed me. Then DH hasn't recharged his phone (actually this is quite unusual, usually it's me that's uncontactable...) so I couldn't get any sympathy.
Had to explain to yet another person why I feel like crap. I think that because we work in such a tight emotional environment people pick up very quickly on sad moods. Most ask out of compassion so I don't mind answering.
Anyway, can't wait until today is over.
Good news Blizz and Lissie - good luck!!

ohhh sweets, I will send you as much sympathy as I can muster, you are having a hard time of things at the moment. I usually feel down for about a week after a failed transfer but I totally understand that you fall in to yet another slump, it comes and goes and as you say things trigger the feelings again and unfortunately these things can't be avoided I am sending you a huge big cyber hug and I am hoping you'll have a brighter day tomorrow at least it will be the weekend and you will have a couple of days of ME time I hope

Well the work day is over and I feel a bit better. Had a talk to a friend of mine about everything that is wrong in the world, including at work, that made me feel better.
Inevitably someone brought in a baby (what do they have, radar?) so I was a bit raw about that too.
However, the one good thing about teaching teenagers is that you can't be moody for too long as they take advantage of it and muck up like anything. So I had to snap out of it for a while, which I did.
Still haven't heard from the clinic yet - about 4pm the last time so we'll see...

HI everyone,
Nurse called as I was leaving work - result was BFN, making the argument to move to IVF more valid. The nurse even suggested it herself.
Blizz - sorry it's not on for Monday - must be a bit unsettlling when you don't know what's happening.
Tarkine - hope you've enjoyed your holiday!

Hi girls,
Gargy - sorry you have been so down - its never easy hun. Just do something nice for yourself this weekend. Maybe IVF will be your miracle - thinking of you.
Blizz - sorry its not monday - but you know it won't be far off - unfortunately with IVF we must be so bl@@dy patient all the time - it drives me mad at times.
Tarkine - glad you didn't get pushed off the road - enjoy your last days of holidays.
Lulu - can't wait to hear the next chapter of how the embies went, hope you get to freeze 2 of them.
Good luck.

how my day is shaping up!
Hi Girls, I have good news and bad news,
First my good news
after a rushed last minute blood test, I am having FET Tuesday morning at 9:30am, they will start defrosting my embie on Monday afternoon so fingers crossed for my little snowbub.
My bad news
My MIL's house didn't sell at auction this morning infact no one bidded at the auction at all, we had one offer after bidding from some one who offered $275,000 for the house and $300,000 if we left the furniture where it is(we thought it was quite cheeky as the furniture left on display are all large antique pieces in immaculate condition ie, huge sideboard, complete half chester bed set, convict built partners desk+more etc.)
I know this isn't unusual but we couldn't help hoping that the house would sell quickly so we can finally move on from loosing our MIL on the 7th of March 2007 with out having to spend every other week end working on her house to prepare it for market, with it feeling so wrong and empty with out her in it and having to ignore our own half finished disaster of a renno.
If anybody is interested in peeking at it go to realestate.com and type in postcode, 7320 the house is 133 Mount Street, Burnie.
It is such a beautiful house it's just not suited to a 19mth old and maybe one day a newbub, not to mention a family day care buisness, other wise we may have brought it (if I didn't also love our house and amazing seafront view sooooo much)
ps. I should add it's on page 10 of the house listings for that postcode

Blizz,
I've just had a look at the house.. It looks wonderful. What is Burnie like? If we weren't tied to Canberra (for DH's work - Tassie would most probably be our next place to live - it is soooo beautiful down there!)
Great news for the FET.

I'm biased, born and bred in Burnie (no two head jokes thanks) Tassie is the most beautiful state I love it wouldn't live anywhere else, Burnie is up and coming it is still a little sleepy at times, but they are moving with the times if not a little slower, come for a holiday when we build our guest room and you'll see what I mean
