Signature, Ticker, Photo & Avatar (Cartoon Images) Guidelines

Dear members,

I'd just like to point out our guidelines on signatures for use in the forums, to clarify what is and what isn't acceptable.

You can have:

*Links to your own, personal family and/or baby website.
*Emoticons
*Standard sized TTC/Preg Tickers - One only per member please. Extras will be removed. Ticker height can be no larger than 120 pixels high

Images in tickers

You may have a ticker with an image in it, PROVIDED that the ticker is designed to have the image inside the ticker, and not two seperate images. E.g. a ticker site that does combine the photo with the ticker is baby's first site. Many do not combine the image so please double check or ask the moderators if you are not sure.

Text in Signatures

We have put in place some new guidelines with regards to text in signatures. All members are allowed at maximum of 4 lines of text, and 2 blank lines, WITH a ticker or 6 lines of text and 2 blank lines WITHOUT a ticker. Market Place Members are allowed to have their business link as extra lines of text. Moderators are allowed to have article lins as extra lines of text as well. Please also have signatures aligned to the left

Text size can be no larger than size #4 which is this size. Normal text is size #2.

*PLATINUM MEMBERS ONLY (paid upgrade): Your own avatar (cartoon images) ONLY when in the designated avatar area of your profile (which displays it to the left of your post), and not in your signature or elsewhere. The maximum size for avatars is 80 (wide) x 80 (high) pixels. Any avatars larger than this will be removed as it distorts the avatar window for every forum you post in.

You cannot have

*Links to commercial or business websites
*Additional images, avatars or tickers or photos
*Oversized or animated images or tickers. A maximum of 120 pixels high for tickers.

As you would all appreciate, we'd like to make sure that the forums appear tidy and somewhat professional at all times, rather than overdone or messy with cartoons and images & photos, which also slows the loading time for pages and creates extra downloads for other members. We create and host avatars for Platinum members only.

Yes you can! Links within BellyBelly are fine, as are sites that are your own personal ones such as photo sites or blogs.

If its a page/site with your personal photos etc, then that is fine.

hi there, i just wanted to check to see if I am allowed to display a "im pregnant" banner in my sig. The size is 20 pixels high by 150 pixels wide. thanks

Sasha congrats on your BFP but we don't allow animated images so you will have to remove it.
