IT'S BACK! Yes, due to overwhelming demand, Platinum & Life Membership is back.

Here are the details if you wish to upgrade to Platinum or Life Membership.

Platinum Membership is an annual fee of $39.95 (just under 11c per day!). IMPORTANT NOTE: If paying via PayPal, membership payments are deducted annually through PayPal's subscription service, so if you don't want it to come out automatically every year, you need to cancel the subscription after your payment. Paypal requests the deduction, not us, you need to understand this when you sign up. It's not a once-off payment, it comes out annually unless you cancel it.
Lifetime Membership is a once off fee which lasts 30 years LOL and is $129.95
* If you are a Platinum member already and are upgrading to Life, you get a reduced Life fee dependent on how long you have been a Platinum member.

Once you have been a Platinum member for 5 years (i.e. made 5 payments) you will gain free Life membership. As you can see it works out to be more cost effective to go Life, but we have these options to help meet budgets.

What do I get with my Platinum membership?

Platinum & Life members receive:

* An avatar designed for them
* A BellyBelly email address, i.e. yourname@bellybelly.com.au, which is accessible via your email programs and webmail, anywhere in the world
* Access to the exclusive Platinum areas, including 'Ask Our Professional Support Panel'.
* Discounts on products, services and events
* Selling ability in the classifieds including auctions, buy now and Paypal payment options
* Life Members receive 5% discount in the BellyBelly Online Store & BellyBelly Pregnancy Centre (products only, not services or external workshops not run by BellyBelly)
* Full private messaging access with a limit of 100 messages (standard members have 10)
* Access to the games Arcade which includes tournaments to play against other members
* Special member-only days/sessions in the BellyBelly Pregnancy Centre
* A warm and fuzzy feeling for supporting BellyBelly and contributing to the running and improvement of the site.

Can I pay for platinum membership for a friend, or can I buy one for a present/surprise for a member?

You sure can. When you go to the subscription page, you will see your username in the top box. If you want to make a subscription for yourself, it stays like that - don't touch it.

If you would like to make it for a friend, you must have their exact username in that box or it will not work - the database will not understand. So please if you do use this feature for someone else, make sure you copy and paste their username in or else type it in exact as you see it on the forums.

How do I pay for Platinum or Life membership?

Our preferred way is to simply click THIS link and select the right option. This will take you to Paypal to pay. You do not need a Paypal account to pay - please look for the link which says the option to pay without signing up. This will set you up immediately with no waiting for funds clearing into the BellyBelly account and then for us to set you up manually. Please scroll down the bottom of this post for tips on paying via PayPal.

What if I don't have a credit card to pay with?

Simply email a moderator or post in the forum help forum to ask for the BellyBelly account details for an internet or bank payment. One of the moderators will email the details to you. Please email Kelly (at her first name @bellybelly.com.au) once this is done, cc'ing Astrolady (her forum name @bellybelly.com.au) who is the Platinum Member Manager! PLEASE NOTE: When you pay via direct deposit, please use your username as the reference for speedy identification and processing and please be patient, it can take 2-3 days for funds to clear sometimes especially over weekends, and then both Kathryn and I need to be available to do the work needed - we're always doing alots of other things, so when we get a moment we'll set you up. This is another reason why we prefer PayPal, it is set up instantaneously.

So, if paying by direct deposit, we need approximately 5-7 days to upgrade you from the day you transfer the funds. Please allow for this time before contacting us, as it just adds more emails to our inboxes and slows us down

How quickly will I get access when I upgrade?

If you pay via PayPal, you will get instant access to the Platinum area which will tell you how to set up your avatar and email address. This may take 1-2 weeks to complete (often sooner) as there are many upgraded members now and all requests go into a queue and are done as soon as we can, but we're busy mums! So we'll get onto it as best we can. If it's taken more than two weeks, please shoot us a reminder and we can give you an ETA.

Hi,

I was wanting to sign up for Lifetime membership, but only get the options to upgrade from Platinum to Lifetime after 1 year (Which I think is because I have under 25 posts, going from a previous post).
Can someone please upgrade me to a member, so I can pay for the Lifetime membership?

Hi Guys,

I've been reading about memberships & I am a little confused. I am not any kind of member & would like to become a lifetime member but thought I read that there are no new memberships after the 31st of March yet in my user profile under paid subscriptions there is an option to upgrade to lifetime member if you are an existing platinum member (which I am not). I was wondering if I could pay the $129.95 & use one of those options & become a lifetime member??

njd, both Platinum and Life memberships are still available. The platinum was stopped for a while but is now back. If you select the first Life Membership option from the Paid Memberships section (for those who are not Platinum members already), you can most definitely pay the $129.95 and become a life member. I look forward to welcoming you to the "club"!

Sorry to be annoying... I have just paid through paypal for platinum m/ship and have received my receipt email. Do I need to do anything now? I followed the link Raven posted on April 20, but it says there are no messages in that forum.

I cannot send emails for the next 2 weeks so cannot email Kathryn or anyone to find out what's happening. If I can find out how to access my bb email now then I can email whoever does the avatars now.

Hi Sehra, if you want to change your username, there is a link in your User Profile, on the left hand side, right down the bottom to Request Username. Enter the username you would like and it will tell you if it is available or not. Alternatively you can use the search function to search for that username.

I want to get the one year platinum membership but I can't find the option for it when I try to pay.I can only see options for lifetime memberships.
