Where there's hope is on the way
Default Puregon & spotting

Just wondering if it is normal to spot on Day 5 FSH injections?

My period finished a few days ago but it has started again. I am on 200 units of Puregon. Rang my clinic for reassurance, but they could not advise me if this mean't anything. I have had a BT done but am a little anxious waiting for results. Really fearing my cycle will be cancelled.

Can anyone advise?

Many thanks
WTH

Hi WTH,

Sorry you are having a bit of anxious time...I don't have similar experience but hope you will get an answer soon from the b/t result.

It might just be the side-effect from Purengon. I was on 150 on my 1st cycle and reduced to 125 on my 2nd one because I was on the brink of OHSS 1st time around. But everyone's reaction towards drugs are different though...

Just want to send out lots of and hope the cycle will go as planned.

Cuddlepie - thanks for writing back! My OB picked up that I have an estrogen dip in my natural cycle which causes spotting a few days after AF. But he said if I did IVf they would take over my hormones and I would not need to worry about this. But it has still happened....

Well, it looks like I am a "poor responder". After 4 FSH jabs my E2 is jut 126. FS is increasing the dose, but I have been warned there is a good chance we will cancel. Next BT is on Friday...
