This thread is for those members that are undergoing IUI to try to conceive.
If there is anything you would like to discuss about the thread or have any problems then please contact one of the moderators. All emails/PM's are treated confidentiality. Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them. As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here. Just easier, is all.

Hi Girls,
Hope everybody has found their way here safely.
Shades, thanks for the tip on the ticker. I'm superstitious about these things so haven't dared put one up til now.
Bella WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!
I'm excited for you too! Three fat follies! Good luck good luck good luck good luck!!! And don't worry - the worst part of IUI is the stinking speculum.
:-)

Wow Bella!! 3 follies at 19mm!!! Thats great - you must have responded very well to the fsh this time round. My clinic would have cancelled my cycle in this case, so your lucky they will go ahead. Good luck for tomorrow - nothing much to worry about. For me it was only a little more uncomfortable that a pap smear.
OP - Love your sig. It is great to see one in here!!
AFM - I have been getting strange, strong cramps that come and go and a lot of CM (sorry TMI). I am starting to get hopeful for b/t tomorrow.... but maybe I am reading into these things too much. Time will tell.....and how slowly time is passing right now

Diamond,
Last Sat I had shocking cramps bad enough for me to put myself to bed for the afternoon. And yesterday they came on again bad enough for me to start eating period food. So in my opinion cramps are good!
My fingers are crossed for you!
:-)

Morning all
Just popping in to wish Diamond all the best for your BT today, everything sounds so promising, I bet you can't believe the day is finally here.. GOOD LUCK
Bella - Best wishes for you today as well - go 3 Follies !!!!
OP - 5 weeks and 2 days today - woo hoo - did you get much sleep ?? Probably not !!!
Antgirl and Shades ---
AFM: As crazy as this sounds, in all the hype I forgot AF was due earlier than BT, so I am now just waiting for the 8/9th - doesn't seem as far away as the 12th - I think my hubbie hid all the HPT's - so I can't even test to keep my addiction to HPT's going, Im on the wagan in regard to HPT"s -

| | Jury is out
Morning Girls,
Thanks for your good wishes Op and WLAB. Jury is out, blood was taken this morning. Now I have ALLLLL day to wait for results. I will take this afternoon off work so i am at home when they ring.
WLAB - I forgot to respond to your results last night re: 2nd prog b/t. I normally do not get these done, so I cant offer a great deal of info. Just want to reinforce that it does not mean you are not pg. Op is an example of this. Dont listen to the Dr and dont let it get you down.
Bella - again good luck today babe. i hope it all goes well
OP - are you over the shock yet??? R u feeling better, have the cramps passed?

WLAB - HPTs are a crock. They're clearly unreliable, as was my case. DH and I have decided they are another way for the Pharmaceutical industry to extract money out of an erstwhile public.
Diamond, good luck to you lady. This is the month of miracles - did you see Dusty the moderator's news? Four year's and now she's across the line!
AFM: slept like a baby until the street cleaner showed up. He even woke the dog so God knows what's going to happen when there's a baby asleep in our house. I just want to blab my mouth off to anyone that will listen. There are so many "stakeholders" in this. My mum in particular. My sister isn't going to have children so imagine what it's been like for her to think she was never going to have biological grandchildren? We have an heirloom ring which was supposed to come to me but because I have no daughter my mum was going to pass it to my cousin who does have a daughter. And there's my sister who has left everything in her will to my cousin's kids because I've had none. She was counting on me to produce a niece or nephew to look after her when she's old and farty!
And of course on my husband's side, his sister was counting on us producing some cousins for her kids. And his mother - well she lives for her grandkids. It was painful for her to watch us go through this, especially knowing that DH's infertility was the main source of the problem. She hated seeing him in so much pain.
So thanks for being here girls! I can happily blab on this Forum without getting too far ahead of myself. :-) We're now counting the days til next Thursday when we do this next test. So the waiting never ends!!! Lucky we're so practiced at it.
OP.

OP - Oh I know HPT's are a crock !!! They sell sell sell the fact that you can test 10 days after O - I actually bought some that have a sensitivity of 10 !!! But then, they come up + and you cant enjoy the result b/c it's too early .. I dont place real faith in them, but I am a crazes woman at times, and if I dont feel I am actively testing or jabbing, or sniffing something TTC related, I go nuts ..
Interesting, I was thinking of you this morning, and how we all know that everyone says "try not to think about it, and it WILL happen" - you had given up any thought to having a + BT and it worked, so it is true, if only they could come up with an injection (like we need another one) to calm our thought patterns, whilst TTC ... they would make a fortune ...

Dear Dear All!!! I still don't have much time (must learn to get on computer at home) but I do read the posts in my email update. But I did have to get on here to say a MASSIVE CONGRATULATONS!!! OP, I am so excited for you! Merry Christmas girl! Fantastic news for all of us.
WLAB - patience is a virtue so they say, don't take the results to heart - as OP said, you're still in the game and as long as AF stays away there is potentially great news.
Bella - good luck for your IUI, what a great result with all those follies. 3x19! And more! Depending on the size, my clinic might have cancelled me, but 3 gives you a good chance huh?
Diamond - how did the results go??? Hopefully they were as fantastic as OPs. Waiting to hear from you!
Shades - when is your BT due? Hope you continue to do really well too, you deserve it.
AFM, still off cycle. Go for scan on the 12th to see if silly cyst has gone away. Although in the last few days have had crampy feelings and changes in CM (yes, I can do the TMI too). I'm day 21 so may (with my long cycle) be o-ing all on my own. So will BD and hope the natural thing works. Maybe the chastetree (vitex) the naturopath gave me really does do something... I'll keep my fingers crossed. If I wind up with some real symptoms of O, I might ask the clinic to do some bloods next week to see if I did O.

WannaBeMum - My clinic won't do a BT until AF is late I don't think - She's due next Fri. So if she doesn't arrive I'll see about one on Mon or Tues I guess. I think she will though - I'm really not feeling positive about this cycle.

I'm sorry Diamond...
If mine doesn't take either I'll also be taking a break until Jan/Feb - let body, brain and finances recover... maybe I'll see you back then?

Oh Diamond, I'm so sad for you. What awful news. I really feel for you. When you get all the way to the BT stage then there's no wonderful news to greet you. We WILL all get there though. Just take care of yourself and enjoy Christmas - I'll still be here in the new year!
