Hey Kitten - glad this is working out for you..... Even if you can't get into the birthing suite I think there is an excellent chance you will be able to have the kind of birth you want in the labour rooms. They really are pretty good and the midwives are very into active birth. Book yourself in for a tour of the maternity ward through the parent education section. It really makes you feel a lot better when you know where you're going to be. and that way you can get a good look at the birth centre and the labour rooms.
