hi ladies...
I'm on the sunshine coast noosa hinterland.. .but was wondering about organising a regular playdate at Pioneer Park in Landsborough. It is a fantastic park, totally enclosed, with lots of cool park things to do. it is a sensory park, so there is sandpit, musical bits and swings, and a herb garden. massive area to kick a ball around, and bbqs and picnic tables too.
It is about half an hour from morayfield/caboolture, and about half hour from my end of the coast. so is a good central meeting place for us sunshine coastians - and anyone else who would like to join in of course! It is near Australia Zoo for those of you that are unfamiliar with the area.
so the feelers are out there. Tuesdays? and maybe a weekend meetup?
what do you think?

Vicky, obviously during the week is out for me as I work ft, but a weekend meet up could be do-able. I'll keep an eye out for the date.

well depending on whether Aston is well enough on Tuesday - how about then? I have to take him back to the doctor tomorrow. He is definately on the improve, but I want to make sure the pneumonia is going. We have been housebound since last tuesday! I will let you know tomorrow after I have been to the doctor, and of course I dont want to spread any germs!!
And we can always do a weekend as well. This weekend I have family coming to stay so its out for me. But the middle weekend of the holidays is good. No football either on the saturday... Just have to drum up a bit more interest!!!!

As in this Tuesday Vicky? I have an OB appointment at 11.15, but a couple of hours before that would be ok - as long as I am home by 11 (my mum is coming to look after DS for me) or I can do the arvo?
I hope Aston isn't feeling too bad - I was glad to read that the drugs were helping. Poor little mite.

lets make it the following Tuesday, which would be July 1st. That way I know aston will be better! My bigs will be with me too - Laura who is 12 (Melham isn't that how old your Gabby is?) and Nathan who is nearly 10. Hows that sound? Say 10am?

Ooooooooooo! I just saw this! I am so there!
Landsborough, 10am next Tuesday. OK!
Might bring a friend if she's up for it, cos I'm not too excited about walking from the train to the park (dang it, they could of planned that better!).
I'm be ok for Saturdays too I'd love to make this a regular thing!

I hoping Leasha that it does become a regular thing. I love that park - its brilliant. Aston can run around and I'm not stressing about him disappearing anywhere because it is totally enclosed. so many fun things to do for the kidlets too.
Mel, when I go, I usually make a day of it anyway, from about 10 - 2, so even if you do have an appointment in the morning next week, come after.
I'm glad I said next week now, had a yuk night with aston again last night, taking him back to the doctor this afternoon, along with his big brother, who is sick now. Nathan has asthma also... bloody germs!
