Default Pram colour-red the right choice???

Hello!

DH and I have put on lay-by the Bertini X2 lite in red and I am wondering if we have made the right colour choice? It comes in a lime green, an orange (neither of which we like) a bright royal blue (we are having a girl) or black. We didn't get black because it seems so dark and we are due in Sept so will be mainly out and about in summer and are concerned the black will get too hot, but I'm concerend the red may show marks so anyone's experience with red coloured prams would be great.

Thanks

My red pram has taken a beating, it's been to Singapore twice, gets trotted out at every opportunity and has even been bush, and yes it's gotten dirty, but it still looks good.

All prams will show up dirt after a lot of use, even the black (esp milk stains) so that wasn't a consideration for me as such. I think red is a fab colour for a pram. I've said this before, red prams go faster.

When I moderate, I post in this colour. Otherwise I'm expressing my personal opinion.

I was going to say what Sushee said - red prams go faster! We have a red one and love it. I think you've made the right choice .

You know what else... Red is actually soothing for babies too, because its the colour they see in the womb. So don't listen to anyone if they say it's too 'loud' or 'bright', because babies love red.

Thanks ladies, I just wanted some reassurance we'd got the right one.

I have a red P&T pram. I haven't used it yet but can't wait!

I got red because it goes faster, a unisex colour, and because it has good visibility when your out walking...

PMSL Sushee!!!

I don't have a red pram but just wanted to agree with Sushee- I have a black pram and it shows up milk stains I also had a light brown one which also showed up the stains.

Just go with the colour you love!!

We have a red P&T too, we love it. It doesn't really get that grubby and it's unisex.

Plus it does seem to go faster ...
