Quilts and pillows aren't recommended for babies under 12 months so just make sure baby is nice and warm

we use a sleeping bag and a cot sheet + thin blanket if she needs it (just remember safe sleeping at the end of the cot and to tuck the sheet / blanket in really well at the bottom of the cot so they cant pull it over their heads )

Oh, Dee, I forgot to say, if you have a sqiurmer who kicks of the blankets and who hates being wrapped (like me ) sleeping bags are great because you know they're always covered and wont get too cold

Oh yeah I used those when DS was in his brace. Lots of leg room and they cant get it off and brillo for those late night nappy changes . One zip and thats it
I also have a blankie that has a zip on the bottom and side which is great now that he is a bit older with his rolling. Also doubles as a floor mat for him.

I buy single bed sheets for the cot and fold them in half - saves the bucks when they move into a 'big bed'.

We use sleeping bags & sheets. Sometimes I do put Brock down under a blanket as he's alredy asleep & I don't want to wake him up trying to put him in the sleeping bag. If we do that he always chucks the blanket off.
