i am feeling pretty confident in performing and reading the opk. but i have never had a positive one before due to not ovulating on my own.
So now hoping the clomid will do its thing and finally i will hatch an egg.
Just did todays opk and still negative. But i have got watery CM now (yay for my CM) and it stretched about 1cm, so i think the egg is on the way...
hoping one day very soon I will suddenly get a big dark test line, and then away we go!

in my experience with lots of these opk's as soon as you get 2 lines the same darkness/ or darker than other line (whatever comes first for you), you can stop testing .

Has anyone used the clearblue/clearplan easy fertility monitor? Is it easier to read/ more reliable than the other opk's where you just read the lines to see how dark they are.

Hi all, well im back to answer my own question in case anyone else was wondering.
Yes the positive OPK did show up out of the blue.
Today the lines were obviuosly exactly the same colour whereas yesterday the second line was almost invisible.
I have a feeling i got the tail end of the surge though so possibly Oing today not tomorrow (just going on ovarian pain and and a funny feeling..... also its possible my wee was a little bit diluted yesterday...???
Sunshine, i did use the clearblue digitals once, they worked ok but as i was not ovulating at the time they were all negative, so makes it hard to judge how effective they are for me.
Using Forelife and Discover this time and both work good. Got the positive on the forelife one today.

I tested this week on Sat, Sun and Mon. On Sat I didn't think there was any line at all, then on Sun it was about as half as dark as the control line, and then yesterday it was much darker than the control line.
It probably depends on what brand you use too I think. I have the Lullaby OPKs. Peeing in the cup seems to be a lot easier than some I saw in shops where you pee on a stick and so actually have to aim! LOL

I only used my OPK's for one month (cycle) and it was negative until one day it was positive with two dark lines. That month we were successful and bump is due in January 09. So that's the only experience I can speak of. I have a pack of 10 sitting in my top draw that I haven't even opened yet as I thought for sure it wasn't going to happen the first time we tried. I am glad I was wrong, I guess I will just save them for next time.
