WOOHOO Michelle. I'm so happy that Miss Edna was behaving herself for you hun. I knew she would be though
I think we need to start telling the little miss that she needs to turn the other way though. The thought of you doing handstands in the pool again has just crossed my mind
How cute that Oscar has been dreaming about his daddy. Way too cute!!!!!
Willow I hope everything goes well for your stay hun. Thanks for the PM. I'll get back to you soon.
Once again Sage is sick He has a very bad cough which makes him throw up, a runny nose, temp and a sore red throat
Just a quick question for Michelle or anyone else who might know, How long is it ok for bub to have dry nappies before you need to worry about dehydration? I'm asking this as Sage hasn't been drinking very much, has a temp and has only had a slightly wet nappy(maybe 1 or 2 wees) since 12ish today.I'm offering the boob to him every half hour or so and he'll have a couple of sucks and then cough and loose interest again. He has been vomitted a few times this arv/tonight too.

Mako - you are looking for a few things besides just the wet nappies. How is he breathing?? How fast??Are any of the muscles of the chest / between the ribs getting sucked in so you can see the ribs?? What is the cough like?? Is he coughing ++++ then vomiting?? I'll PM you my number and you can either call me or SMS me if you like. Hearing the cough can tell me more and if he is disinterested in boobie then it usually indicates a greater level of illness - things like bronchiolitis are common at the moment due to the time of year. With the wet nappies - I would like them wetter and more frequently but lets start with the breathing part first. Ultimately, if you are worried then you know him better than anyone - take him to hospital.

Just keep an eye on him. It sounds like it could be bronchiolitis but it is hard to tell over the ether If you are worried or if he gets worse then please get him checked out

Thanks. I won't call you now as he's finally sleeping. If anything changes I'll take him to get checked out. I'm only 5 mins from the nearest hospital so thats always a good thing to know.
Once again Thank you for helping

Again Michelle, WOOHOO! Soooo happy that all is looking good for Edna
Mako, I hope Sage is okay, it's so stressful when they're sick, and you're hanging around unsure of whether to take them in or not. I would always say to someone 'if you're not sure, then just go', but it's different when it's me I dither and dither wondering if it's mean to drag him out in the night, yada yada yada. I'm so not good at taking my own advice! Anyway, I hope you have managed to avoid the hospital run, and that things are brighter in the morning (after a good night's sleep!).
On that note, I'd better go to bed too! xoxo
PS Where's Deb?

Janie - Deb and Immy have been sick so she is probably just trying to catch up on some sleep and get better. Another respiratory thing.
Why is it that when Daddy gets home sleeping goes out the window

Hiya ladies,
Just a quickie to do a happy for Edna! So glad she is thriving, and fingers crossed she will turn without the need for the pg lady to be doing handstands again!
Mako - hope S is ok. Hate those darn nasties
Janie - Yes 'dad' is the problem here too... sometimes I get him to go out for about half an hour so I can put her to sleep!
Spring, Anna, Jayne and everyone else - a big hi and will catch up on personals over the weekend.
