Help- am I crazy wanting another baby so soon or is it just my hormones?

Ok, I've got a son who turned 12 weeks old today. the last couple of weeks I've been really clucky & wanting another baby. DH has even got a little excited at times & wanted to BD at O time & if it happens its meant to be.

Is it just my hormones or do you think i really want another baby? I didnt experience this with DD until she was about 18 months- 2yrs old. That makes me think maybe its real.

I dont want to get PG to find its not what I really wanted (especially since PG is very hard on my with HG & pubic/pelvic symphisis (sp?) ) But then what if it is what I want?

Oh BTW, AF has arrived only a week after O this month, does that mean I wont be able to concieve even if I want to? I've heard stories about the short luteal (sp?) phase, I'm sure thats what its called LOL!!!

Danielle i dont think you are crazy wanting another one that is a personal choice. If it is something you and your Dh have discussed i say go for it. And as you said if it happens its meant to be..

Just kidding.. I'm clucky as hell too and mine isn't much older than yours!!!!! If I didn't want a VBA2C so bad, I would be trying already as well... June just can't come quick enough

If things are looking up for you and your DH and you are working it all out then why not.... I bet i'll be clucky for another one when this one is 2mths old too hehe although i think i will wait a bit first hehe being my first i have no idea how it's really going to be....

if you think your crazy wanting another bub after 12 weeks...then what was i falling pregnancy when DD1 was only 5 WEEKS OLD~!!

For me....if i wanted it, id do it. Talk with DH first and see if its what you both really want, maybe even speak to some one about it. I know for me when the urge is there then its the right time to have another baby. I like mine close. #2 and #3 is a big gap for me (15 months)!

Danielle, wow...I have a DD who is 10 months and still don't want anymore. I hope one day it changes though, I seriously wonder if something is wrong with me!!!

Not crazy at all!
I was already TTC by the tiem my first was 12wks old and pregnant by the time he was 6mths old. This time round we were TTC but werent preventing as we have fertility issues and I got a BFP when #2 was nearly 5mths old. There are 15.5mths between #1 and #2 and there should be on or less than 15mths between #2 and #3.

Its mega hard work I can tell you that much, but if its the right thing for you guys then go for it! Talk it over with Dh as well.

Thanks hun. I decided to go back on the pill.... I think that answers your question LOL

Thanks everyone, I have decided to go back on the pill. I'm still clucky but have decided it's best that I don't have another baby.... yet LOL I'm only 28 so I'm thinking I still have about 7 or so yrs up my sleeve if I decide to go ahead with it in the future.

I love my 2 children I've already been blessed with & I know how lucky I am to have them.
