That is wonderful news.

And no, IMO a heart beat of 173 is not too high. If it was a concern, the u/s technician would have consulted a doctor (this is my understanding of what happens as it happened to my sister twice. Oh and she had a beautiful boy and gorgeous girl from the pregnancies). Both my boys had a heartrate of about 140 and for DS1 then suddenly it shot up to 182. It slowed down again not long later. The reason was the little monkey decided to do a little dance and got very active. Once he had enough exercise, the heartrate when back down to the usual rate for him.

That is great news, Little One! I hope that puts some of your fears aside. But it is a day by day process, isn't it?

I've had a scan last Tuesday and we saw the heartbeat. But since early last week, my bbs aren't as swollen, but still tender. And my nipples haven't enlarged. I've been told that that can happen but I don't hear much mention of it on this sight. Has anyone else had this experience?
