I actually had the opposite problem! I VERY rarely passed wind at all while I was pregnant.

I am making up for it now while I am feeding though! LOL

Yes, I did with pregnancy no 3. Sadly I have no remedies for it though. It was the worst in the first trimester for me!

Ohhh yeah, half my nausea is/was morning sickness and the other half was gas! It's settling down a bit now (13 weeks). Always at night, guess moving around during the day would allow it to exit my body without too much discomfort (how delicate was that!).

I would rub my tummy clockwise like I did with River when he was gassy, or had my head on the pillow with my bum in the air - you know, cos hot air rises? It works for me anyway.

At least now when dh farts on me in bed, I can fart right back!

Mine always seem to get stuck!!

So i had to find a remedy to get rid of it otherwise i'd get majorly bloated and it would kill!

I get on all fours, squat down so i'm almost in a ball and reach my arms out along the floor... then wait! It seems to move it around, and it comes straight out!! Sorry if TMI!

I'm not normally a gassy person, but lately i could win a farting competition

See? There might be something in the 'bum in the air' method!

Lots of salad and oats help. I changed my diet to chicken salads and cheese and avocado crispbreads etc and ate a lot of oats and digestive cerials and found it really reduced any bloating or discomfort

In the beginning of my pregnancy I farted so much, not smelly fortunately....but I used to do it in the supermarket, sometimes it would almost last the whole length of the aisle! Reminded myself of the old people who fart in public but don't care who hears them!! Well it had to come out!!

Oh my god YES. the last couple of weeks have been awful. My tummy feels like it is cramping up but it's actually gas in my stomach. I get in fetal position like i use to when i got period pain and it would all come out then. It really hurts if you don't let it out so as the saying goes better out than in. If i am somewhere where there are heaps of people i just walk to where no one is let it out and procceed to do what it is i was doing before hand.
Happymum2 - LOL about it lasting a whole aisle in the supermarket, i reckon some of mine could too.
