The Third & Fourth Stage of Labour Labour doesn't end with the birth of the baby - it ends with the third stage - the birth of the placenta! So if you have any questions about anything third stage, for example cord blood, cord clamping, vitamin K injections or the 'fourth stage' of post-birth bonding, post here!

Default *TMI* - Almost 5 weeks Post Partum Fresh Blood

My lochia had bascailly stopped the last couple of days - was happy, but still using pads last 2 days JIC

Then this arvo I grabbed a heavy shopping bag out of the cart to put in the car, about 8-9 kg, and felt this pop, though I'd leaked, I am doing my PF exercises, but probably need to do them more...

But when I got home I hadn't, I had fresh blood instead! So at least I didn't wet myself, but I am confused, is it the start of my period, just the Lochia coming back, do I have to watch what I lift????

I had a Vaginal Birth, a couple of tears and an episiotomy, is it possible I opened a wound again?

I also started the minipill on Tuesday.

If anyone can provide me any answers it would be great!!

Maybe you should go to the doc just to check.
Are you in any pain?

No pain... atm, the only thing out of the ordinary was some shooting pain, straight thought about my belly button area, about an hour before, but nothing since

I'd see a doc. Just in case.
