Twins or More Just when we thought having one baby was tricky enough, mums to multiples often have extra challenges with two or more babies of the same age. If you are a mum to twins or more, this is where you can exchange experiences and support with others.

Default Please pray for my friends

My brother's best mate and his wife are expecting monochrionic diamniotic (identical) twins and are 16.5 weeks at the moment.

They've just flown to Brisbane as the twins have developed TTTS.

Unfortunately they can't have the laser surgery until Monday. Without surgery they do not expect the twins to survive.

Please add them to your prayer list. They will make the most wonderful parents and I really hope and pray that things go as well as they possibly can.

Best wishes to Paul and Natalie.

Thank you.

Dear God, please be with Paul and Natalie and their two babies. Please keep Your Hands over them and keep them from harm. Guide the hands of the surgeon that has to do that delicate operation. In Your Good Grace, Amen

hi there divvy
you are a wonderful friend speading the message. Are your friends getting any support/counselling etc. There is a TTT contact with the AMBA- there maybe someone up there that they can talk to about it. Otherwise there is an AMBA forum that they can get specific infor about TTT and plenty of other mum's who have been there before and some that have had the surgery!
HTH and they will be in my thoughts!!
keep us updated if you can!

Divvy, I have a happy story to do with TTTS, my SIL had this with her twins and didn't find out til quite late (can't remember exactly as it was 2 1/2 yrs ago now!) but both twins survived and although they were born 10wks early and one was quite sick, with one being 1.5kg and one only 0.5kg. They are both here now and going through the terrible twos, they are little tornados with their big brother.
I hope everything goes well for your friends, good luck to them.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Oscar Paul and Harry Jack were born yesterday, at 24 weeks, and lived for about 15 minutes before passing on to a better place.

Thanks for your support and understanding.

Oh my Goodness, that is so very sad to hear.

No parent should have to bear the pain of losing a child. It is just against the natural order of things.

Please pass on my deepest sympathy and understanding.
