Twins or More Just when we thought having one baby was tricky enough, mums to multiples often have extra challenges with two or more babies of the same age. If you are a mum to twins or more, this is where you can exchange experiences and support with others.

Default Curious question for parents of triplets or more

If we have any on here that is or if you know someone..

I was watching a show last night on Triplets and it got me to thinking...

3 is a decent number of kids especially all at once and most families have 2-3 kids.. so how would you feel not having anymore pregnancies?> Silly question I know but just curious.. Are you to busy to really care or disappointed that you don't get to experience pregnancy again??

This is more if the parents didn't want anymore then 3 kwim?

hope I made sense lol.. I was just curious

Hi there,

I don't have triplets or more but I am pregnant with twins.. My partner has a son from a previous relationship and I had alot of trouble conceiving.. Anyway when we found out it was twins, straight away my partner joked he was getting a vasectomy while I was in hospital having them.. And I must admit even tho they are not born yet (I may not want more kids) but I do in way feel disappointed that he has dismissed the idea of having more.. However when I said that to him he said I would have been happy with one and now I have 2 so thats that.. And it's true, I may not ever fall pregnant again and I am so glad and feel very lucky I am having twins but still I definately would not dismiss having more.. I would have loved a large family.. I am a bit old school that way.. Hate career and happy playing with paint and playdough with my stepson!! Anyway, interesting question, hope you get more replies..

Nope - no twins or triplets here either! But we were just talking about this few weeks ago when I was out with the MG girls... One of the girls has twins and she does feel a bit sad that she won't experience a "normal" pregnancy... That was how she put it. She was looking at my belly and saying how she'd love to experience just a regular pregnancy without all the emotion, shock etc of a twin one but they don't think they will go for 3 and if they do it will be a while away...Just thought I'd put my 2c worth in seeing as we were talking about it!

Yeah, no multiples here either, but yep - I'd be devestated if i only had one pregnancy. I love being pregnant, and I recently told DH that it makes me feel so sad to think we might stop at 2 (and tbh it's sadness over never going through the whole pregnancy process again more than anything). Needless to say we are still in negotiations over having #3. hehe.

Pregnant with twins and we have a little girl already.

DH said he would get the snip. I was a bit disappointed at first but then when MS hit (double the nausea, the back aches) I'm thinking Yeah i dont think i want to do this again.

no triplets here (hats off to anyone reading who has higher order multiples!) but we have twins and I definitely know what you mean.

We plan to have another baby at some stage but whenever we talk about it, DH says "if we have twins again, that's IT!!' so I am desperately hoping we won't have twins again (not that it's likely - I have about a 1 in 70 000 chance of having twins again) because I would feel kind of ripped off. I mean, I'd end up with 5 children but only 3 pregnancies and birth experiences.

P.S - we have just moved from Boyne Island! It's a great spot, huh? Moved back to Brissy when we found out we were having twins. I miss it! All those evening walks on the beach are a thing of the past now!
