Hi Sashels

Congrats on your pregnancy!

I'm sure someone can lead you in the right direction, but I was just going to suggest having a look at the website A labour of Love. The creator is a very experienced doula that I met on the weekend. I know you said you wanted a trainee doula but I thought maybe send her an email and she may know some trainees that might be able to help. Worth a try anyway!

All the best

Welcome to BB! If you get in contact with Lisa Chalmers from Australian Doulas (Perth) she is very experienced and has trained with some of the best in the world. Australian Doulas : Perth, Western Australia - she will help you find a good doula for a VBAC.

Thanks Kelly.. love your signature by the way. Very apt for me at the moment.
Sashels, I also run courses here in Perth and have lots of gorgeous trainees available. If you contact me, I can help you find someone that suits you most. Trainees charge expenses only, so expect to pay about $100 and get some really fantastic support.
Have think about the kind of doula that you would like, age, geography, personal experience..different things matter to different people, might help you narrow your choice down a bit.
Hope to hear from you soon
Lisa
