I think a day at a Day Spa would be HEAVEN. You will get a discount if you book for more than 10 people. A whole day could cost anywhere from $300 -$1000 per person but I'm sure if you looked around you would find a great deal. You usually get two treatments in the morning, then lunch, then three treatments in the afternoon which includes afternoon tea.

You could do a high tea at a nice hotel, we recently did that for a MG girl, at the Sofitel in Melbourne and it was great... carried on with a few glasses of champers up on the 34th floor for those that could - I didn't but it was still lovely!
Dinner at a nice restaurant.
A day at the races? (Not sure what it's like in Sydney but it's Spring Racing season down here and there are lots of races on) I went to a Hens a few years ago at a rural race and that was fun too - picnic style!
A pampering day at a day spa- lots of places do hens packages with pedicures, massages, lunch etc.....
Belly dancing classes followed by dinner.
Can't think of anything else right now!

I was 22 weeks pregnant at my Hen's Day and I went out for lunch with my gorgeous girls. They had organised some games to play like "How Well Do You Know The Groom" etc. It was such a fun afternoon.. most of the girls drank throughout the arvo and then we all headed back to my place for some chick flicks.

Lilianfels!! I just sent my parents there for the weekend as a thank you gift. Majorly pricey but worth every cent IMO.

Great ideas girls. thanks so much! At least i know that there is lots of ideas out there. If you have a day spa, do you ask ppl to pay for their own or do I pay for everyone? I am just thinking how expensive it could end up and we are trying to save for our baby...!

I think it's fine to ask people to pay for themselves. You can offer to pay for lunch maybe?
Some people might opt to have one treatment done but spend the whole day there or some people might opt to have the full day of pampering - in which case they will pay for that!

All the ones I have been to I have paid for myself, as long as people have plenty of notice if it is something excy they won't mind.

okay after lots of searching and running ideas by my friends I have decided to have a day at Fringe bar in Paddington where you draw a nude male model. I am sure it will be lots of fun with the girls.
You get
• Glass of bubbly on arrival
• 2 hour life drawing class
• Fully qualified female art teacher
• Muscular male nude
• Topless waiter
• Shoulder massages for all guests
• Group photos
• State of the art equipment
• Unlimited fun and lots of laughs
• 1 hour unlimited gourmet pizza package
• Unlimited juice and soft drinks
All for $80 per head. How good is that! iTs with a company called art4play.

If you are going to a public place where you can run into random guys you can do the
SIGN 'ERE, SUCK 'ER or SHOOT 'ER. Get a T-shirt and cover it with lifesavers and write the names of all of her past boyfriends on the t-shirt. The object is for the bride-to-be to find guys with the names of her past boyfirends and they sign the shirt. If the guys she asks don't have their name on her shirt they either suck a lifesaver off the shirt or shoot'er if she can have alcohol it is meant to be buy her a shooter, my B2B was pregnant and so was I so we mad it shoot her with a water pistol - great if it is a hot day.
We actually did this whilst having a counter meal at a hotel during the day on a Sunday so it allowed those that wanted to drink to do so and those that wanted a more sedate event to just have a meal and sit at the table. We had a couple of other games before wandering around the pub looking for the guys. Like pictures of famous people and the groom in blown up condoms - it was called - who is the ***** and the girls had to pop their coondom to find out who was their groom and who ever got the groom's pic got the prize. We wrote out a piece of advise on heart shaped cards. I also gave each guest a shooter name with a sexual conitation as name badges like Hi I am Slippery Nipple.
