Gift ideas for my dad and soon to be step mum...
Ok so my dad ad soon to be step mum are getting married new years eve this year, It is also my dads 50th birthday and new years eve, My dad has been married twice and my step mum only the once so they have everything they need.
I was thinking about getting hold of my step mums daughters ( 27, 21and 16) and my half brother (17) and sister(15) and seeing if we all wanted to put in a bit of money each and get them a night or two in a nice B&B or motel in Melb or up Mount Dandy way
If they dont Im totally stuck for ideas on what to get them, COuld anyone please throw some ideas my way, they would be greatly appreciaited

Gold Class tickets including food would be a nice gift. Of course this is only useful if they live near somewhere that has a Gold Class cinema or if they visit somewhere that does.
You can always get them a voucher for something. At the post office these days they have all sorts of gift cards - there's an amazing amount of different ones you can get.

A digital photo frame?
Some kind of "experience" like a hot air balloon ride.
A dozen premium bottles of wine.
Ummm thats about all I can think about atm.

Maybe a professional photo of all your dad's kids and all your step-mum's kids so they have a "new family" photo?

You could get it taken just before the wedding day - some places do a very quick turnaround if you tee it up in advance.

I was going to suggest a weekend away when I saw the title of this thread. DH and I just sent my parents to Lilianfels in the Blue Mountains. It cost us a bomb ($1200 for one night) but they said it was the most amazing place they had ever been in their lives (and they frequently travel overseas).
So if you can muster up the gang to pitch in for a nice weekend away I'm sure they would love it. When we bought ours it came in the form of a "package voucher". That way they could use it when they were available to go. It was all inclusive (accommodation, dinner, breakfast, a lunch picnic and massages).
