Default Temp work what is the usual pay rate

Im currantly a document controller that has decided to put the whole career thing on hold because Im finding it extremely hard to pay full time daycare for 2 kids and justify why Im going to work for that 5th day. Anyways was interested in temp work through Hays up here in Sunny QLD and they want to know how much money per hour I want. Im on about $23.50 working full time as it is so I was thinking of asking for $23 to $26 per hour. Does this sound reasonable? This is just for administration all rounder type of job I guess.

Oh dear, just saw this..

You are right on the money there, from my experience....although it will depend on the job.

You're right on the money .. I'm on $24 full-time with a Government agency. The cut from temp to ongoing wasn't significant, but you have to remember that the hourly rate is supposed to pay for your own sick-time, holiday leave, super-contributions, etc - all that your employer pays when you're in a full time gig.
