Hey ladies

Very quiet today. Well I hope u r all having a lovely weekend. My sil rang me just before & asked if I wanted to go out with her, my bro, hubby & cousin out to dinner & i'm like yeah ok, but now I can't be bothered I have a massive headache. Have to go all the to chaddy. Anyone been to Maxy's resturant? That's where we r going? If u have let me know, I want to know wat it's like If I will hear from anyone by tonight hehehehehe.

Anastasia - I haven't been there (when i lived in melbourne we were too broke to do anything!!) but I hope you have a good time tonight.

Not much going on at home either - we brought a new bed today (got it a grand cheaper - woohoo!) and also go the screen door installed... so thats all from here...

DH is trying to get DD to sleep - and DS is watching a Diego DVD that we brought for him today (its just not on enough on Nick Jr to keep him happy!!!)

Jacob is 4 months today!!!! and still fully BF

We have had a very long day as Jacob woke at 0400 soaking wet after a change and feed he was wide awake and wanted to play!! I took him back to our bed and he was not intersted in sleeping at all or feeding lying down! so i have been up since 0630 when i gave up trying! he has snoozed for about a total of 2hrs since then!!!

my brother and girlfriend r down for day/night as they r going with DH to see wicked (got ticket for him to go with them as i wont leave Jacob to go with him)

Jacob had needles and check up on thursday.

Name: Jacob Byron
Age: 4 months,
Weight: 5690 grams
Height: 63cm
Head Circumference: 42.5cm
Feeding: Fully BF
How Often: Demand (5 - 8 feeds a day)
How Much: BF
Other Medication: occasional Losec such a stress to get it into him and not doing much
Day Sleeps: maybe 2 cat naps of 40 mins on my knee or couch
Night Sleep: midnight till 0600 - 0800
Settles: BF to sleep
Awake Periods: most of the day
Size Clothes: Size 00 and 0
Size Nappies: depends on brand as use Pampers, Huggies and Snugglers
Favourite Toy: Squuecky tube like toy with horse head and shapo rattle
Milestones: 1/2 way rolling, eating hands, while head under arms will push to standing position
Other stuff: Loves smiling, talking, eating hands and my fingers also.

Feeb - HAPPY FOUR MONTHS TO JACOB! I saw the photos on FB too, very cute
Mel - which moogoo do you use? I had a look at their website yesterday and was thinking of ordering a bunch of stuff... maybe the udder cream and infant scalp cream cause DD is getting a bit of cradle cap.... and maybe some shampoo and conditioner for me...
Beth seems to be having a real hard time with teething, she's so hard to settle at the moment!
Anyway, hope everyone is having a good day.... no brain capacity for more personals but big wave to everyone

Pixie chick - we use the skin milk - its not the REALLY strong stuff if they have a terrible rash = but it still cleared up DS's blisters within a week of using it. So I never had to put a sposie on him.. hehehehehehehe The recommended stuff is the Soothing cream. The scalp cream is excellent - highly recommend!!!

Feeb - is Jacob 53cm long or 63cm??

Everyone must be having a BUSY weekend!!!!!

Going to SIL's today for family dinner. Don't wanna go. Sooooo don't wanna go. Would rather just stay at home and play with DS and smile at my DD cos she is an angel.

I told DH the other day its good that we had a bad baby first, cos I'm soooo appreciative of the fact that she is a really good baby... I'm loving the sleep throughs... plus she hardly cries (only when overtired) and she wakes up all happy and smiling!! DS NEVER did that - and he's still a grumpy screaming bum head when he wakes up....

Ahhh well.. thats enough of my gushing for the day.. anyone would think I'm in love

Howdy ladies!

Well not much happening here. Jesse had swimming lessons yesterday, that went well. And apart from that.. thats it. Going to IL's this arvo for our fortnightly Sunday dinner.

Oh had a lovely day at the park with Julie/Missy and Kristy on Friday! The boys had a great time and all sheeeit themselves when one of the fighter jets took off at the RAAF base across the road.. oh i had to laugh.. but they loved it! And they also loved seeing the trains go past also.. was great fun.

I had my hair cut on Thursday arvo. Just some layers but i love it! My hair is normally just straight.. but the layers give it a little something more iykwim. I really like it.

Happy 4 months to Jacob! Wow its going fast!!

Keira's now rolling from back to front and front to back. Very glad shes worked out how to get back though, just so if she does it in bed she can get back iykwim.
Scarey to think theyll be sitting up and crawling soon! Jesse was 5 1/2 months when he sat up and 7 months crawling.. man thats not that far away! And unfortunately with Keira i think she will be doing it sooner. Shes already trying to sit up. Ehh! no! Slow down!!!

Mel.. i know what you mean! We had a terrible time with Jesse when he was a baby.. mostly just because we were uneducated and i never knew (and no one told me!) that things like Infacol existed. Poor Jess Jess mustve been in so much pain, but im glad at least we have stopped Keira going down that road now. Oh woohoo on the new bed! Oh bet thats nice! What A think of the new Cbeebies channel? Jesse absolutely loves it.

Pixie.. i found with Jesse, the best thing for Teething is panadol. He hated the gels and everything else.. so if shes ever having a really bad time just give her a little panadol. It wont do any harm.
We're had no signs of teething with Keira so far woohoo! Least thats one thing shes keeping normal and not being too fast with!

Tasia.. hope you had a nice night out.

Missy/Kristy (and anyone else).. do you wanna do something this week again? Whether its the Raaf base again or play centre at castle hill or Kristy's? I just cant do Friday as mums coming down. But Wednesday is fine?

I don't think Miss M will be a quick developer - DS sat up on his own at 7 months and crawled at 9 months - walked at 15.5 months - but his speech is excellent. I'd be happy if she goes the same way. We don't think the rolling will be far off, but I'm in no hurry...

Hey folks
Well having a MUCH better day today! The Bear took Beth out for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG walk while I went shopping for clothes..... And I actually found some trousers that fit me, cause the only pair I had that fit and I liked were falling apart. The first few shops I tried made me feel like the fattest person in the world, nothing I tried even remotely fit, then I stumbled into this Colorado outlet store and it was fantastic = got 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of black cargos all for $116 and it is all really nice quality stuff, not the trash I normally buy! I'd put a dance smiley in but they don't seem to be working! The Bear and Beth had managed to get all the way to Manly so I went and picked them up, we had a nice breaky and a walk along the beach and went shopping for a new lounge.
All in all a great day! Can't believe Beth is three months old already! It's going toooo quick!
Kel - yeah I think I might give her a shot of panadol before bed tonight... it was a killer trying to settle her last night

Mel.. lol yes theres a new kids channel!!!!!! Channel 705 called Cbeebies. They do Where's Boo, Teletubbies, Brum, The Fimbles and all these other weird British shows Jesse loves. Oh that would be nice. I really am not looking forward to Keira crawling.. gawd knows what ill do with her getting into all of Jesse's toys and small pieces. Think im gonna have to put her in the playpen if im doing something and not watching 100%.


Pixie.. oh woohooo on the shopping spree! Thats great Bear gave you that time to yourself. Yep with Jesse if hes ever been irritable for more than 1/2 hour to an hour i just give him some panadol. Who knows what is up with them, obviously something, unfort they cant tell you. But a shot of panadol wont hurt. Hope she has a better night tonight.

Gonna go make a cuppa.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, it's been wonderful weather wise here in Melbourne.

I have to say things have been great here with our little princess, this new technique for putting her to bed is working wonders and she is pretty much asleep in 10 mins from being awake. She is also sleeping during the day for an hour at a time.

Pixie - woohoo on going on a shopping spree today! Well done hun, I know that I haven't been cause nothing fits me and I really get upset when the size I want to get back into doesn't fit Happy 3 Months Beth

Kell - Oh sounds like you'll be having your hands full soon with little Keira, they grow up quickly hey I'm trying to enjoy Izzy as much as I can before she starts to go through all her milestones.

Mel - How has your day been with the family??

Feeb - Happy 4 Months for little Jacob

oh I have booked in a photo shoot for Isabel next Saturday which I'm really looking forward to, can't wait to have some lovely photos to display on my wall... We also organise our Christmas cards for this year, Isabel just looks gorgeous lol.
