Question about af; warning TMI

Hi all;
So I have a question to ask about Aunt flow!

It has being just over a year since I had my daughter, and in that time i have not seen af until last saturday (i think)...
warning :P
Last saturday morning I noticed some blood when i went to the toilet; it has been so long since the last time that i freaked out a little cause there were none of the old symptoms that i used to have.. And the other thing was that it wasnt really a 'flow' as such; there was blood whenever i went to the toilet but nothing on the actual pad!
Then by monday night everything seemed to have being finished!
Do you think this was AF? if it was it was nothing like what Im used to! if it isnt what on earth is it?
