Default Natural Fertility Management - Contraceptive Kit by Francesca Naish

I went to the naturopath today and many things regarding my health were discussed. Just wondering whether anyone has used this above method, a natural method of contraceptive?

One of my problems is my hormones and I am currently taking the contraceptive pill "YASMIN".

I was off the pill many years ago and felt so wonderful not putting it into my body. But of course I am on it as I don't want to get pregnant.

Would love to hear of ANYONE who is using this natural method?

Hmmmm looks like nobody has looked into doing this which is ok. Talked to naturopath about it today and might buy the kit. Just wanted to see whether anyone could highly recommend it first. Thanks anyway!

Hey queenbee,

Just wondering if u bought this kit? If so whats involved with it & how much does it cost?
I havent been on any contraseptives since i had my implanon taken out about a year ago due to the side effects. I am due to go have a mirena implanted when my period starts but was just reading a couple of threads about them getting lost & serious side effects from it.
I would love to not have to put any hormones in my body. But i also dont want anymore children.

Hi Queenbee, Yes I've used this method and the kit! Finally a reply!!!!

I used to live in Sydney and due to breast cancer I can no longer use hormonal forms of contraception so I saw a naturopath that was trained by Francesca Naish. The kit is very easy to use and once you get started you become very in tune with your body and know exactly when you are ovulating and so are "unsafe". I have used this method as contraception for 5 years now and also used her conception kit to concieve both my little cherubs.
Give it a go, it's easy to do, and the best thing is no artificial hormones in your body.

Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer.

QB I have also used this method.... I would say that it is fantastic but you must be vigilant, and make sure you observe the lunar fertile period as well as your own cycle (this will make sense when you read the book etc). You need to get the Jocelyn Centre or an astrologer to work out your lunar fertile times... it's probably easier if the JC do it because they actually list the dates you need to be careful. It's best to err on the side of caution for a few months but as you will probably be using a barrier method of contraception during fertile times it's not that hard to do (although sometimes annoying!) After a few months you will get into the swing of things and start to have more confidence in the method. I actually went to the Jocelyn Centre to get this kit as it was near my home and had a consultation with the ladies there. If you live in Sydney that is worth doing too. Good luck and enjoy being pill-free!

There isn't really alot of reading other than the book called Natural Fertility that comes with the kit which is very interesting. You can also buy the book without the kit from any good bookstore, if your local one doesn't have it they can generally order it in. The book explains all the concepts used in the kit. The lunar fertile times are based on the lunar phase of the exact time, date and place of your birth so you will need to have these accurately worked out for you. If you contact the Jocelyn Centre in Sydney they should be able to put you in touch with a Naturopath in your area who is an accredited NFM (Natural Fertility Management) specialist.

hi everyone, i havent used this type of contraception but i have had a copper IUD and that doent have any hormens in it so you cycle naturaly, and i think it lasts 3-5 yrs not sure which, and when you take it out you dont have the stand down time like you do with merina and other contracetives.
