Unhappy Natural Miscarriage

Hi Ladies! I would just like to share my horrifying story about my miscarriage. I started to miscarry on Friday Oct. 10th while I was at work. It was the scarriest feeling ever just sitting at my desk feeling a gush come into my underwear. I first noticed something was wrong that wednesday so I contact my doctor. I was told that as long as there is no cramping then I should be fine. Well there was no cramping but there was serious pain throughout my pelvic area. It hurt so bad that I could barely walk. Friday I called again which was my third time in a row calling them but I knew this was bad.

So I went into the doctors office for an ultrasound to see what was going on only to be told they did not see anything and it seems that I have miscarried. I was not warned about the pain that I would soon endure a few days later. It was the worst feeling and day of my life. I was awakened at about 3:45am due to major cramping. Need I say the next few hours seemed like somebody had beaten me in the stomach non stop. Just seeing the images in my head now make me tear up. I don't even to describe the feeling of having to witness your unborn child passing through your body.

Ladies this was my very first time being pregnant and now I have nightmares at night and I do not know what to do and how to cope.

Nicole - firstly I would like to say how sorry I am that you have lost your little baby. Everybody grieves in different ways and some days will be harder then others. It's almost twelve months since I lost my little angel and I still have some moments when I get all teary and think about what "should" have been.

Cry, yell, scream, vent, laugh, you will go through all of them and others. You will find it really hard to look at pregnant women, not wishing they didn't have those pg bellies, but wishing you were with them. Countless people will announce their pg and expect you to celebrate along with them. Someone once said, "I can't be mad at them for being pregnant, I don't know what they've been through themselves, they may have had a loss too".

However you are feeling is okay. Some have gone to counselling, works for some but not others. The best form of counselling I found was the group of ladies on this site. When you are ready, come join us in ttc after m&l . The girls in there are what helped me through. Some of the girls that were in there when I first joined, are now having their bubs, others are still in there waiting. We all support each other.

especially for you.

Hi Nicole

I am not sure how far along you were - but there are ladies on here who have lost their angels at all stages of pregnancy so you will find a lot of support on here.

I understand how traumatic it was - I had 2 text book pregs and then lost 2 babies before recently giving birth to my baby last month. It was a shock and something I never thought would happen to me.

You will find alot of support in the TTCAML threads.

Look after yourself.

How awful for you.

I don't know why so many medical people don't tell you what to do/expect when this happens. I came straight home from the Dr and got on BB for information....and the bestest, precious support from the ladies here.
