Chris Tang is an acupuncturist who works with women during pregnancy and at birth. This session, you’ll learn about how acupuncture and Chinese medicine can help with:
- Labour preparation, induction and augmentation
- Turning babies (breech, posterior)
- Reducing fluid retention in the hands and feet
- Reducing pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome and promoting circulation
- Lowering and maintaining blood pressure
- Relieving back pain and sciatica caused by pelvic instability or other ailments
Bring your birth partners / support people along to the chat so they can learn some tips including acupressure points to help contractions in labour.
